The duo of Scott Russell and Aubrey Stewart have known each other since they were teenagers. Over the years they have worked with each other in various bands and on numerous projects. Their recent project, RUST, has pared down the unnecessary and allowed the two musicians to concentrate on the essentials without un-needed interference. The result is a unique and original sound and a group of songs that reflect the aggressive nature of the musical styles they love with the complex arrangements that fuel their creativity. RUssell handles the writing of bass guitar and percussion while STewart compliments on vocals, guitars and arrangement. Slated for an early 2022 release, the as of yet untitled album is almost complete. Stay tuned for the announced release date and follow the progress as new music becomes available here.
